Apush: New Order Bank & Happy Camper
Hi All,
Took a personal day today to, well, do nothing. I did hit a few banks and found a new order bank. Glad I did.
I had been to this particular bank before and everytime scored two or three 40% from the tellers' trays. Today I enter and they remember me. I asked if they had any halves and the tellers says "how many do you want?" Well, that is a loaded question. After our tap dance, I get $300 non-CR'd halves. Then, she asked me if I was a customer and I said no. She is okay with that. I asked her if I did open an account, could I get any other halves she had available. She said she had a full box on hand (includes the $300 I had already garnered) and I could have an extra $100. Done deal. And, I could now order boxes any time I wanted to, as long as it was a minimum of 1K. Account opened.
She gives me the box and I don't give it a second glance until I get home. I open 3 rolls--all clad. Then, I see something that really makes me pause--an ender. The reverse is similar, but different then the Kennedy. Dang it if it isn't my second Barber! 1910-S! Now, this box was open! The teller had opened it right in front of me and it only contained the $400 I had purchased. Then, I hit 2-1964s and 5-40%. One was another ender. I still have $250 left to go, but I just wanted to post the following, "It is still out there!" Quote by Rileyboy. I want to post a pic, but I just don't like that sidebar!
