Here is the blouse I sold at the 0.99 cent auction that netted $17.00+. Not a hot item, Nor a hot ticket, but I did make a profit! Whoohoo!

Still trying to learn the ropes. I love clothes, and at this time, this will be my nitch.

Going to my first "storage locker" auction tomorrow afternoon. Just going to watch ... not bid (I am very conservative so it has to be too good to be true).

Let us know how the storage auction goes! I don't know if i'd be able to hold myself back from bidding on one, unless I went with no money

I do storage auctions regularly I am not into clothes so most I find go to good will. Pay close attention to the smell of the locker. If it smells bad then the clothes will probably be dirty and of low quality. Careful packing and neat placement in the locker are clues to value. You can find some killer stuff but I must warn you it is a lot of work and real easy to get overloaded with stuff.

Here is a typical locker from a couple years ago they have gotten more expensive and of poorer quality since the unreality shows.

One of about 4 loads from that locker.

Here is what I look for the gold from 3 lockers done on one day.

An 18K aqua marine ring came from a homeless persons locker they picked up stuff and just put it in storage.

I find a lot of clothes if you are willing to spend the time sorting and selling them on ebay there is money to be made but the volume can be overwhelming.

5 Carhartt coats all from the one locker the guy was a cement worker, sold them on Craigslist of $80 total 4 were like new. These are the only kind of clothes I normally will try to sell.

Ohh, I hate to say it but you lost out on those jackets. I've sold those for $45-60 each no problem. Carhartt stuff sells extremely well. I've never had a bad auction with one. Pants, Jackets, etc.

Yes I know I sold them cheap I am not into clothes and getting rid of things to make room for the next locker is the name of the game. I did sell them in the summer when demand is lower. I do not do ebay much at all anymore because of thier high fees and demands you use paypal. The jackets woudl have been good ebay material.

Of course, thats totally understandable. Just thought you might want to know, in case you saw some again. I definitely understand the need to move stuff as fast as possible. I've got a backlog of stuff I need to sell myself...

Nice finds!!!!

Carhartt is money around here. I pick up all the Carhartt I see, and they always sell very, very quickly at the flea market. In fact, I sold a very faded Active-Jac last week for $15.

thanks for the storage tips, I'm not sure I'm into them yet because of all the junk you've gotta deal with to distill down the good stuff. If i had a thrift shop on the side it would be perfect
