Hello All,
Thank you for viewing this thread.
Had lean results in April, but it gave me an excuse to be outside during wonderful weather. Here are some bullets I found at three different locations so maybe that will mean something interesting in the future. The 36 caliber is not like any Civil War bullet I have seen, but there were a hundred different types of bullets so maybe someone can add some information about it. It has no concave base. The 3 ring was run over by a dozier and then nicked by a shovel. A house was going up there and an old friend had told me about the place where he found bullets in the sixties so I got there just in time. The 44 caliber was from a area where union troops guarded a railroad trestle. Hoping to discover the main camp before the snakes do IMAG0969_edited-1.jpg.

That's a nice Dropped 44 cal, The 36 being fired could be from anything 'Picket' type bullet even ??? & the 3 ringer is always a great find these days, even with a little damage.

Good job

It may be a "lean" month but as long as you had fun finding your stuff; who cares??
I've never found a 3 ringer. Not too much CW activity in my area except for one known Confederate camp/armory which is completely off limits to detecting of course.

That 3 ring is the first of its type i have found in a long time and it was dropped. Mostly around here are cavalry skirmishes so lots of smaller caliber bullets. There are huge union camps, but i beliieve they are covered up by urban sprawl. Still looking always....
