Hey Dave,

Again, nice finds. I'm wondering if you dug any old nickels. I know a lot of people don't bother with those signals, but I thought maybe you investigated those tones in the woods. Just curious. Keep up your great posts!

Joe
Yes 'Twisted'....I did pay attention today,,,,,and plan on looking for more Nickles in the future.....Thanks

Awesome finds, especially the pendant! I found one very similar to it just two days ago in a park, but mine is badly corroded, and don't think it's silver. it has the same writing, and the same sybol on the back, very cool keep it up and thanks for sharing

The woods you are working are an amazing find, congrats on all your hard work! How are you detecting the area? Are you using some sort of grid and each person has an assigned area? I always seem to have difficulty in corn fields and woods and I am curious what your methods are, thanks!

Incredible hunt once again Dave! So is 37 wheaties your standing record? That's going to be a tough one to beat, but you could have had it beat on this hunt if you remembered how many you had found probably ;)

That '41s is freaking perfect! Congrats on your hoard of silver and wheats!!

I got one of those silver (plated) 1830 pendants as well... and I was told the 1830 date is not the MFG'd date, but rather something else.

I hope you are not cleaning out your local areas too much... you gotta save them for when you can't get out too far :) HH!

Your silver count humbles me...I'm at a whopping 4 for the year so far.

Yeah, that 1830 pendant is really cool, but it is not from 1830, unfortunately. I see those for sale all the time over where I live, new, with 1800's dates for some unknown reason.

I'm glad you decided to dig some nickels today! I tried my darndest to dig some nickels today, and dug about 67,000 pull tabs but nary a friggin' nickel. Oh well.

By the way, those are some nice looking Rosies you've got there. Man. I cannot find any of those anywhere, I swear. It's like Roosevelt himself put a restraining order against me. Show me where you find those and I'll show you where you can dig...um...a wheatie or two. Please?

lol...

Nice finds.

Joe

Dave, at the rate you're going, you shouldn't have any problems reaching your goal

Great hunt,

Awesome digs Dave, but the others are right.
1830, now get this, almost to the day you found it, is the beginning of the Mormon Church.

Probably more of an anti-Mormon sentiment, the medal that is.

Excellent find and great totals!

Awesome job again bud!!!!

Gotta love the E-trac,really produces,WTG.Hardrock (yea I live in Illinois)
