Looks like a broken up celt. Accidental chipping to one side of the blade is one thing but to both sides of the tool is another. When you see that it is more then likely a tool if made out of hardstone.........................GTP(Chris)

Looks like it might be a preform. Where they would chip the big stone into a manageable smaller size to carry back and finish later?

Haha tis true! Its like this if I found it in some random field or river with no other artifacts around I wouldn't think twice about it. But when you find stuff like that in hot spots that produces a lot of artifacts it makes you wonder..if you know what I mean
