There has got to be some of you out there who has dug multiple 1954 plains. I've never been lucky enough to get one. I will trade almost any Indian Head from the 1880s or 1890s for one (exceptions are 1885 and 1894). What do you need?

20 years ago on one of the metal detecting forums I found a digger out west who traded me dug 1913-S, 1923-S and 1926-S for some dug Indian Heads. Diggers out West find a lot more S mints and not many Indian Heads.

Surely someone will trade me dug 1954-P and 1955-S Lincolns. I have the rest of that folder.

Went through my hundreds of dug wheaties and found exactly one 1954. Very strange, since the mintage was over 71 million. Anyway, if you want it, it's yours. Send me your address and I'll get it out to you ASAP. Any IHC you may have would be fine in return.

There has to be an untold story behind that 1954 plain. 1913 and 1914 have similar mintages and I have found around 20 each of those.

Tim, I got your 1954 Lincoln today. Thanks. I am now only missing the 1955-S from that Lincoln folder. Hopefully someone who has an extra dug one will trade one to me. Would you like a green IHP or a brown one? I have plenty of both. It's surprising how many come up almost natural looking in this area if you get into sandy soil.

Thanks for the 1889 IHC! It arrived safe and sound. Very nice coin! If I ever dig a 1955-S, I'll let you know. I rarely dig S mint wheaties around here, though.
