Well, I've found a lot of coins, cool relics, and junk, but never a walking half. Don't know if I can claim this either...Yes, it's part of a folding or disappearing coin trick. I knew something was up after cleaning it, as it has a very small slot cut into the edge and was cut very perfectly with totally smooth sides. Any additional info would be great to hear. Thanks for looking

Well that's different... nice find!

I have found washers and shims made out of large cents ( and small cents and nickles). Maybe somebody was in a pinch and made this( or used the cutoffs) as an improvised fix?

Very nice! It is still silver! Thanks for posting.

I do a bit of close-up magic and have a number of 'gimmicked' coins for things like 'coin through table', 'bite through coin' and 'handkerchief/cigarette/pencil though coin' routines. They all have a construction which involves hooks inside in each part for a rubber band to be looped around so the coin automatically springs back to its complete shape when required... so I'm a bit doubtful that's what you have.

This used for the "coin in the Bottle" trick! Nice find! :occasion14:
