This is my nieces husband on his Kubota tractor digging there way out in Buffalo New York, where they had over 3 feet of snow dumped on them. Forecast is calling for 1 to 2 feet more-----yuck------- untitled buffalo.png

Love that it drops on them right before it makes it to me haha

No thanks, you guys got nailed worse, but I'll stand by cause ours is coming.

Something wrong with people up there. Actually scares me to imagine living in that climate. Give me 100 degrees all day every day any day!

LOL--- I would'nt make it in 100 degree heat

I used to chop cotton when it was a 105 out in SW Oklahoma, so I'm pretty happy livin where 80 is a record high temp.

Yuck. I prefer no more than 3 to 4 inches of that stuff.

'Fun' pic! But ya'll aren't the only folks that get lots of snow. Before moving to MN, I subscribed to the Duluth newspaper. There was an article about this little place called Hurley, Wisconsin. Article said it was normal for them to get....I think it was something like 21' or 22' per year due to lake effect. ....Per year?? As much as I like snow, that's a bit too much. I could handle probably half that amount, providing there's no equipment hiccups.

Not nearly as much snow here, but lots of drifting from high winds, temps in the -30's (was -23 this morn), and a wonderful little Dodge plow truck. Yup, all is well. :occasion14:

What the heck disrupted your hibernation KCM? We're looking at a high of 53° here today.

Hey Grant! :hello: Just getting a bit burnt-out on the whole "online forums" thing. Have been checking in here about every month or so, but not able to swing a detector like we'd hoped. ...Not that this makes any difference at the moment! *lol* Also have been sick a lot this past year , also. Currently need to get into a dentist and get a couple teeth fixed. Last time I went in for such work, it nearly cost me my life. Have now put this off way too long.

Will probably be checking in more often here, but just not keeping up with other parts of T-net anymore. Basically, just here looking at all the gorgeous pics you guys post. Dang, seems ya'll are gettin' better-n-better every time I drop in!!

Just had this wonderful device installed on the truck yesterday. Turned a 4hr plow job into a 1.5hr taking it really slow the first time. Beats the ATV or the Ford 5000 tractor. Now I'm warm, comfortable listening to the radio.

Oh how I remember storms like that growing up in Maine

The more I see yhall's beautiful Winter pic.'s, the more I realize that I'll take our Georgia weather.

Yeah, yeah... :tongue3:

Born and raised in Texas. Didn't experience my first "real" winter until age 30, and that was in Finland just south of the Arctic Circle. Ended up leaving there almost a year later....in JUNE! Do you have any idea how hot it is at Houston (formerly) Intercontinental airport in June?? Moved up to MN and never looked back. And to top it off, was a firefighter in TX! :dontknow:

Nope, don't miss the southern (asphalt-melting) heat at all. :laughing7:
