Anyone using the Deus 2 under water ?

If so how is it working out for you ? Any issues we should know about ? What equipment are you using with the Deus2 ?

Frequently. Haven't had any issues at all. It works well. I just leave the antenna in place for the season... it doesn't affect land detecting at all.

My only complaint is that the only headphone option for me is the bone conductor mode with my piezo Gray Ghost water phones...I hate the tinny sound and the High Square tone mode that is the only option with the BC mode.

I have been using the Bone Phones but plan on getting the Gray Ghost, don't care for the open style phones that prompts everyone to stop me and ask questions on the beach and in the water.... Also ordering RCDIGS case and the short antenna cable so all will fit inside the shaft... Only thing I don't like about leaving the water antenna mounted is I have to snap it off the coil when charging to see the charge light....

I use Grey Ghost Amphibians for the Deus II. Unfortunately, I'm having to send mine in for repair, but only because the gasket in the plug tore ... not Grey Ghost's fault. And they are being awesome about expediting the repair.

I don't believe that waterproof headphones for the Deus I will work with the Deus II, if that's what you're asking. I believe the wiring is different.

The connector is very different
I guess i am wondering if people are happy with the ones for the Deus 2's ?
