Anyone seen this marking/logo?

It was found along side some CW bullets in the woods, pretty deep. Has a bust head (I believe a male) encircled with 12 stars and a "V" at the bottom with a squiggly line. The "V" reminds me of Van Halen with the extended line on the top of one side . It's a lid to something, just don't know to what. Thanks!

Thanks! been searching all types of tins...just can't seem to find company. I think the key is that V and squiggle line. I will be on the Shenandoah this weekend, slayed the smallies last weekend...fishing is good!

I've been looking for that V mark but no luck. Where are fishing on the river? I'm near the RT 50 bridge. HH!

Very close to you. About 9 river miles up river from 50. Near Morgans Ford.
