I run my v3i wide open all the time with almost zero discrimination. I only discriminate out the vdi range of my soil. Even though it is noisy, I like to "see" what's in the ground. I have found lots if cool things.

Way to much crap in the ground where I hunt. I cherry pick the good targets and then go back if i I run out of new spots.

How do you find the vdi rang of your soil with it?

You hit the zoom key when you open up the ground tracking. Then zero it in the air and then stick it to the ground and read the vdi
