I doesn't look particularly military, but, I could be wrong. The upper wing part has the remains of a pin or clasp for attachment. I can't see any maker's mark or determine what type of metal it is other than it's not ferrous. Look familiar to anyone?

Don't know if this is of any help, but I saw a medal just like the
bottom part in a Jason Bourne movie. They identified it as a casting
of a posthumously awarded star on the wall at Langley (CIA).

Good resource! I checked U.S. and Canada, but didn’t see it... I may try other countries in a bit.
edit: I have now looked at all of the Commercial wings on that site ...no luck

As Don suggested... is there anything on the reverse side Mark? :icon_scratch:
If we could get a pic of the back it might help us to date it, which would help to identify it.

What's odd to me is the star above the wings, this typically symbolizes "Senior" wings (No star basic, star senior, star & wreath command pilot). So maybe some sort of Military wings, I just don't recognize them and can't find an example yet.

Here's a photo of the back side. I don't see anything to help I.D. the thing. It does look plated however, so, probably not a high end medal. Maybe something they give the kids for flying on a particular airline?

I will join in...

Is it light or heavy feeling ?

I would say it's on the light side when I compare it with others I've found.
