✅ SOLVED Anyone recognize this copper/brass grate?

Pulled this from the Gulf this morning. It was completely black when it came out. Cleaned up with Nitric Acid pretty well.

Hmmm. Interesting... does it look modern or old? We have been kicking around the idea of an old shipwreck in the area but haven't found any significant.
