Does the green one have a wooden pedestal on a marble base? I believe the color and swirl pattern makes it worth more $$ but if you're gonna use it and not resale, value isn't an issue as long as you're happy with it, you certainly didn't over pay.

I found just an oil reservoir in a junk box and had to pay $5 just for it. Found a piece of kiln dried cherry 6 X 6 and turned a pedestal on the lathe. Located a marble block online and nearly have the project complete. Still need the burner tho, could you PM me with the dealer you ordered from?

Great find!!

They both have brass pedestals.

I went with antique lamp supply. Their prices are a bit higher but they do a good job cross referencing which burners fit which collars. Typical 19th century manufacturing, no standard size for all lol. They also sell hand blown chimneys for what I think are reasonable prices.

As an aside, I've found that when the bases are missing the burner, shop keepers often times don't know what these are. My 3yo son tags along with me picking and he wanted a car marked 25 cents, I put the car and the lamp on the table asked if she would take $1 for both. She happily said yes.

I received the parts to restore the green lamp earlier today. Here she is in all her glory:

All I can say is Wow! I love oil lamps. If I had my way, there wouldn't be a light bulb in the house...
