While waiting on member replies - you might consider browsing these Google Search Results: RECOVERED TREASURE IN THE GREAT LAKE

I do at nauseous, this site is worldwide so I ask any adventurous members if they tried to go under the river or lakes, thankyou

There are tons of known wrecks in the great lakes. Not sure if there is any legal pillage allowed. Once, back in my yoot while fishing a shore I noticed a partial copper thingie almost the size of my hand. It has a patent number that goes back into the 18XX period, I forget the details now. I later found that a old shipwreck from that time was known not too far off shore near there and figured this came from that. I still have it somewhere but not going to look for it right now. It is nothing important nor valuable. So I just wasted your time with NOT a treasure :D

In general the Great ponds are relatively cold. A deterrent.

Its all worth mentioning, what we think is insignificant was never ventured and guess what the story goes on.
