I have put a dime in the pick for refference.
The Item appears to be made out of lead and looks to have had steel wire running through the middle of it that has rusted away.
Looks like it was pressed into a mold. I says Nashville and has a star shape in the center with some lettering that I can't make out.
On the other side it says Cola and more letters I can't make out.
Any Ideas?

I agree. Maybe a bottle cap. Can you tell what the writing is on the top. That should help out a lot.

Old lead wire seal. Used for sealing boxes, crates, etc.

I agree. Used them in a factory job I once had to seal the adjustment on a gas meter after calibration.

Coke-a-cola has had a plant in Nashville for quite some time. A lesser possibility might attribute this "Hav-A-Cola", also in Nashville, but short lived I believe.
