(The picture with one item buy itself). I found this a few years back and have allways wondered. It says on it Minnesota 1902 sept 1-6 and has some wheat and farm tools incripted on it. It also looks like you can attach it to a necklace or pin it onto your shirt. On the back it says chwaa???????? Milwaukee . And it is made out of copper. Any ideas?

TG, welcome to TreasureNet, we're glad you joined us.

We need a photo, some measurements or at least something in the photo for size comparison, and we want to hear where you found it. Many of us enjoy trying to identify objects, but without more info and a photo it is very difficult to do so.

Sounds like an agricultural medal or perhaps a Grange badge. In either case, the mark on the reverse is undoubtedly that of the Schwaab Stamp & Seal Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a leading manufacturer or medals, badges, pins, fobs, celluloid buttons, etc. Here's a link to more information about them:

It could have been a souvenir from or for the first "shool fair" in Minnesota held in 1902,it was started by T.A.Erickson.With boys exhibiting crop and garden products and girls exhibiting baking and sewing projects. The boys and girls club as it was known was a predecessor to the 4-H club, which Minnesota didn't have until 1918.Try to get that picture up online. :)
