1922 to 1926 * era --.720 silver content -- photo in my world coin book 2000 edition looks just like it .

Yeah, I found it in my book too ~ but how do I tell the year?!

easy type in "japanese numbers" into your search spot enter to go to numbers translation chart on line -- use it to translate the date "numbers" on the coin
I think the last symbol is a "six" a sort of stick man looking mark --thus 1926*?

see below ---I stand corrected 1923 * --

Yeah, it's Taisho year 12, means 1923. Unfortunately it is the most common one they made, worth about $4.
