Anyone know how to make a sand scoop

Hey I'm new to detecting and Ill be going beach hunting in a few days any vets know how to make a decent sand scoop?

Hopefully ull get a,good idea from someone befor u go all that comes to my mine ah is either a,metal or plastic coffee can drill a,couple holes to drain out water & sand no handle but better then nothing to

ya ill do that if i have to but maybe i will get some sheet metal and curve it and weld a thin pipe to it and then drill some small holes

If you have a TSC...tractor supply company store or a lace to get farm equipment, chicken feed etc they have feed scoops made of heavy plastic,have a little handle on them.. $5 and u drill with a 5/8s bit makes a nice scoop. They sell same darn thing for $20 on amazon and kellyco.
