Your coin is cool....While most Chinese cash coins are very old that does not always add up to be a valuable find. Not trying to burst your bubble....The were minted sometimes for decades and millions were made.....untold numbers of these coins were brought to America around the change of the century with the Chinese immigrants......I have only dug up one but it's one of my oldest and favorite finds

A friend sent me an e-mail identifying your coin. It appears to be an altered (rounded center) actual Chinese Cash Coin. Its very old but not much value. 1736-1795.

Hi, I've used this site to a great deal of success, dating the coins I found recently. Chinese Coins
Hope it helps give you more info on the hole - I'd word search that dynasty..., I don't recognize the details needed for me to date it, sorry!
