Found this in the same trash pit as the blue butter pat. Anyone know if it's a collectible or shoudl I toss it?

Looks like a shingling hatchet, with a hammer poll and nail-pulling notch. If that pointed thing on the top is just a lump of rust and the blade is actually flat/straight across the top, it could also be a lathing hatchet.
