Anyone know about milk jugs?

I found this old glass milk jug at work and I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.... I can't remember seeing one in brown glass before, but then again I never really paid attention.

Yeah, I found that one too, but it doesn't give any info on that site, and mine has a different label and also has a metal handle instead of the plastic one on that one.

Really can't help you, but I had a girl friend in college, and we were visiting friends of mine on a dairy farm, and when we were invited to lunch she wouldn't drink milk, because her milk came from a brown bottle. City girl she was.
