Anyone Know About Antique Shotguns?

Can anybody help me out dating this shotgun? CS Fifield, Boston is the mark, with Boston on both sideplates. I am thinking 1860-1880, just can't nail it down, and any help will be appreciated!

I think you are close as far as date of manufacturer, maybe a bit older. C.S. Fifield manufactured shoes in Boston and also had a sporting goods store. He probably was a large enough merchant that bought in enough bulk to have his name stamped on guns of a Belgian manufacturer.

Love those old shotguns. I think you're pretty much right on in your date range, it'll look good on the wall.
