I'm going to move this to the What Is It forum, maybe someone will have some info to add.

I think you are close as far as date of manufacturer, maybe a bit older. C.S. Fifield manufactured shoes in Boston and also had a sporting goods store. He probably was a large enough merchant that bought in enough bulk to have his name stamped on guns of a Belgian manufacturer.

1880-1909 value 100-400 dep on grade and condition cheap made pistols and single shots where also made
