Thanks a ton Mack. This site never fails to amaze me with how helpful and I informative everyone is.
 

There will be a serial number on the movement itself, and it may differ from one found in the case. Often times you bought them seperately and just them together to make the watch.

I've got several Elgin's from the 20's and back and value totally depends on the condition, the movement used, etc...

I'd say it's worth at least $100-$200 without knowing anything else about it.
