Is this printed on glass?

What is it made of? If glass, maybe it is a photographic printing plate.

What does it say at the top?

There is a date printed on the left side of the object (1-11-23)

Thanks for the fast replies. It seems to be printed between 2 pieces of glass. The top left reads Fruit of the Loom. the Center top reads Exciting day time styles in fashion wise. Chicken-Wire Checks. There is also something written with a marker on the left side that says " Pitts #86 -1-11-23.

How big is it? It may have been used in an old lantern slide projector.

It is 17 x 14. And about 1/2 inch thick.

Chicken Wire Checks were a fashion trend for the spring of 1952.

The problem with researching a piece like this is trying to figure out what to call it. The closest I've found is something called a "Duro-Transparency". They seem to be a bit smaller than your item and made of cellulose. They were used as store window displays and were backlit.
