These parts appear to me to be too out of place to be parts for a clock...would anyone have any pics to support this?
What comes to me are parts for a Briggs and Straton Carburator.

I would also say clock frame pieces.
Here is a assembled frame with the key still.
Both sides, and there's also a small 3rd frame inside, that is visible through the larger hole.
Please disregard the cat hair.🤣
