Found this on a beach in Warwick Rhode Island I have some civil war bullets and coins dating as far back as 1876 on this beach this was a just different and have no idea what it could be

No it doesn't it seems to be a solid peace of old wood I'm not sure what kind and that one piece of metal is how I found it I'm thinking it might be some kind of handle

Looks like an old fishing pole.
