I dropped my Eq 800 and snapped the pins off the coil-controller junction. I did some research to find the correct replacement but I can’t find a “waterproof/resistant” connector that i felt confident wouldnt short out my controller the first time it got even a little wet. The truth is the minelab connector has an o-ring and an epoxy filled wire housing that is better than anything I could find on line.
It might be a long shot, but i thought if i could find a trashed coil, I would be better off splicing my coil cable to a connector and cable from a non-functioning coil.
Do any of my fellow Equinox users have a dog-chewed or otherwise non functioning coil with a good connector they would be willing to part with?
Thanks

I have one. Make me an offer.

65- Is that a functional coil with broken ears? I have seen quite a few DIY repairs and believe there are even some aftermarket replacement brackets for that.

Yes it's functional. The ears are broken. I have the pieces they can be epoxied back on.

I just tested the coil. Seems to have a short where cable connects to coil. If you want it give me $20 and I will ship it to you. You can email me at iamavanner@gmail.com

65… I have a guy locally that might have one for me. Let me give him a couple days to see what he comes up with. I will get back to you. Thx
