I found this plate type thing years back and had it sitting in my "Mixed box" Pulled it out a few weeks ago for research but still at a loss. It measure about 2 3/4" x 3 5/8" and seems to be handmade. There seems to be some type of gluelike material on the back and almost made of tin like material that's gold coloured. Looks like some type of British shako design and am thinking that the "RNR" might be related to the Newfoundland Regiment. Any clues out there???

Nobody posted so Ill take this one. I may be wrong but I think RNR may be the owners initials. Google crown, monogram for some examples. Looks similar to the bottom center Princess Benedikte monogram.
