I haven't been there in a long time but I have a friend who owns a few pieces of land in Alaska and last time I went with him out there we did good but we also had alot of uninvited visitors " wild animals" while we were there. I woke up one morning and walked outside only to get into a staring contest with a bear. I also had to run off a group of guys who tried to prospect on my friends land last time we were there cause I walked down to the area where he has his dredge set up and I found 4 guys sitting there drinking coffee and getting ready to start working and I asked them who they were and they asked me the samething and I told them that they didn't have permission to be there and they asked me how I knew that and I told them that only 2 people were allowed on that land and I was one of them and the owner was the other and they apologized and left. I ran into those same guys in arizona and california too.
