Anyone found a 20 cent coin?

I know they are very rare, going for over 50 bucks in really bad condition, jsut wondering if there would be a chance of ever finding one detecting

A US coin? I do have a 15 cent square coin from the Bahamas....is that worth anything more than ...15 cents?

Yes, most people dont even know it, but we once had half cents, half dimes, 20 cents, 3 dollars, and some others. Heres a pic of a 20 cent coin from google images:

Does anyone know how many were minted? Per year or total?
I've found a centavos but never a 20 center. Cool coins. HH

Number minted: 1875 -1878 high 1,155,000 to low of 350.

Good luck finding a 20? piece minted in 1877 or 1878. In 1877 350 were minted and in 1878 600 were minted and they were all proofs (although some may have found their way into circulation). The lowest mintage for business strikes was 10,000 for the 1876 CC.
