Corrected!!

The rock/stone appears that it could be mainly Jasper in make-up but has been stained by what I believe is a Copper deposit!

Has a reading of corundum or better reading on a gem tester . Soil here is high in iron and copper. I agree with you on the surface staining and agree that it's a agate but more of a spinel geode replacement of river minerals of iron pyrite copper silver. Looks pretty in direct light

Tests as garnet or higher

I don't think the gem tester is wrong.

These posts date back to May 3, is the author still looking for Identifications?
Most of the bits appear to be jasper and quartzites, some with malachite *the green mineral in the red jasper*, maybe some agate. Post 8 appears to be hematite with some quartz/chalcedony inclusion. Appears to be a garnet inside matrix on post 10 but could be any number of things, hardness test or a fresh chiping would help. Only stone shown that needs a streak test is the metalic nugget in the first post~ appears to be gold or copper. My thoughts.

Looks like quartzite, sedimentary conglomerate, some possibly mafic-peridotitic rocks, and hematite. You need to make a fresh surface for an id on the rock. Also artificial light distorts their true color and luster. As for the garnet, no large minerals in you're rocks resembles one. Resolution is not sufficient to tell you if the garnets are the smaller minerals you pointed out.

Forgive me for having trouble placing pictures in their correct location.

Found this rose gold diamond ring with over 100 diamonds in my yard while searching for gold. Only has a heart shaped stamp on inside band area.i would have thought it was not real if it wasn't for my diamond testing equipment. Tested positive for diamonds and negative for lab grown diamond.

When you keep on adding pics of other rocks or stones to identify on the original Thread, it is hard to keep up and older posts by myself and other members begin to look stupid.
