Anyone ever seen a bank like this?

It appears to be Italian. It was given to me by my Grandmother (after she died) with no explanation. It looks really old. Could it have been my Grandfathers from the war?

OK, on the front, below the salvadanaio it says "per i vostri risparmi"

On the top by the coin slot it says: "risparmio" and "ricchezza"

Also on the plate it says: "S.I.B.I." and "desio"

On the key it also says "S.I.B.I."

That is all the writing that I see

It is very well put together and appears to made out of mostly steel.

Yah, got one similar to it here.
Except no crackle finish or Italian logo stuff.
