Located in Kelley Park on the corner of Story and Senter Roads, San Jose, Calif., Happy Hollow Park and Zoo™ has been providing affordable family entertainment, education, and fun since 1961. Families can enjoy rides, puppet shows, play areas, and over 150 animals ranging from a jaguar named Sophia to the playful family of meerkats.

Elongated penny machines are located at most amusement parks, theme parks and family fun centers all across America. Just put in your penny plus three or four quarters and out comes your penny....flattened with the selected design!

i have found a few. congrats on the silver and wheaties. looks a very good spot for ya! try electrolisis on the silver, works for me. bigrig

That's funny, I've been to car shows at Kelly Park. I had no idea there was a "zoo" there. This was found about 30 miles away. Somewhere I have tons of these from traveling around with my parents when I was younger.

I never found one like that but I found 4 of them that a kid flattened by putting it on a railroad track....lol

Ive found three or four of them. I give them to my niece, she collects them. Nice going

I found a few plain ones from the RR tracks, and I have 10-12 made from the machines..they seem to be everywhere around here. I find most of mine at schools, but I found one at a park last year.

I polish my silver coins by rubbing them between my fingers with water and baking soda..anything too abrasive will scratch them since silver is pretty soft.

HH,
Nat

Digincali:
In 1967, exotic animals from a private animal collection were added in the area of Kelley Park adjacent to the East side of Happy Hollow Children's Park. This was the beginning of the Zoo.

I've dug only two, one was from the first year that they started making them. Congrates!

I've dug two railroad smashed pennies and two rolled cents. The one rolled cent is from the 1933 Century of Progress Fair in Chicago. The other is from the 1939 World's Fair. One of the railroad smashed pennies still shows the date - 1910.

Yes u can make them at fairs and stuff
