Anyone ever find a Cheerios Dollar?

Just curious if anyone ever found a Cheerios Sac dollar in their searches. I have not ....yet.

I got about $800 in Sacs last year and looked but never found one.

I've been through $750 of $2000 and no Cheerios examples yet.

No, I've read about this as well, and it's something to look out for. I don't know how many were made for the Cheerio boxes, but the coins found during the promotion ARE different than the regular issues.

I think the Cheerios coins are considered patterns because they were "issued" before the regular coin and are struck from slightly different dies.

Here is a good site with a picture showing the different tail feathers to look for. They say there were 5,500 made for Cheerios.

I finished searching through the $2,000 in dollars with no Cheerios examples found.
