Anyone else hunt w/ Master Hunter CX III ?

Does anyone else out there still hunt with a Garrett Master Hunter CX III ? I know it's an older M.D. but I have not bought another Detector since that investment... It has payed for itself (and then some) with (alotta work)..
I was curious what settings (Factory or self programed) other CX III hunters were using( if there are still some more of you around)........... And what you might have upgraded to after this purchase......It took me allotta hard work to find enough to make my CX III pay for itself...........I doubt if I wikk upgrade (in the near future) unles I can find a newer better M.D. for less than $500........
If I remember correctly,my CX III ,W/8",,12",,and snipercoil,,,,cost me about $1000...........back in the day....

Is that the one that talks to you?I have the one that speaks to yea...I only used it once and wondering have metal detectors changed much and is it still a good machine..Thaks johnny

I am still using mine,and still making some good finds.....I don't think I could dish out another $1000.00 tho..Without knowing FOR SURE ,that technology could give me atleast another 25-30 % increase in depth..........Unless you get real lucky,or a little lucky VERY often....It takes a while for it to pay for itself,and by the way,,,,,,I don't want to hear that womans voice nagging me on every signal......I shut Treasure talk OFF ,and I can decide what to dig ALL BY MY SELF>>>>>>>>L.O.L.

Thank you for your time.I think this was the Best detector garrett was selling at the time and it also talks too lol.I think i will used it,was thinking of maybe getting a tradein but then again these were the best at one time and i don't think that they got that much better?I only used mine twice so its still pretty new lol.Just need to find a few sites...I look and don't see any talking detectors that garrett still makes but i can be wrong... Jt
