:BangHead:Listening to the radio yesterday on a new get rich quick scheme , where the person goes to any bank with cash and could possibly get an equal exchange of silver coinage !!?? It sounds like coinroll hunting to me . You need to buy the dvd and this guy will teach you the secret on how this works. I heard the ad while listening to Glenn beck . If this is the case were bonned the banks will be overrun with people trying to buy boxes , then the banks will begin to charge or stop all together not to mention less silver for the true community !!! The name was something like" retirement silver 7" i think .

Well, if it was on during Glenn Beck, we have to worry. His listeners will buy anything.

:laughing11:

I bet this is the same ad that made it's way around last year. I wouldn't be too concerned about it.There is only a finite time this hobby will last anyway. If silver goes down, it will last longer. If silver goes up, it will end sooner.

''true community'' lol, many americans have a bank account and pay taxes, so they certainly have a right to go take advantage of their banks services and go try their luck. id bet money youve done something to annoy someone elses hobby once or twice before too.

theyll get tired of it before they even get started, who cares.

How true, once they find out how much it costs them to "find" silver.

No, it's easy. You just walk into a bank, say, "give me things that are worth more money than what people think", and they say, "sure, that's our job as a bank! Let me find a precious metal for you and sell it to you at zero profit."

Right?

you make a good point . because when a teller asked me why i spent my leisure time looking for silver i told her " im just taking back the precious metals that have been stolen from my family for generations by the federal reserve"

Most people from the ad will get an impression they can ask "Do you have any silver halves?" and will expect a box full of them.

Exactly. All these ads have done is made teller tray silver tough to find. Around here, all banks have loads of customers who ask for halves and large dollars when they come in. but that's the extent, the boxes around here still rule, so thank god for coin machines!

If it was a commercial during the Glenn Beck program, it doesn't necessarily means that he endorses them. Radio stations and TV stations can put whatever they want during the commercial times. If Glenn Beck was talking about it that doesn't necessarily mean that his listeners will all be rushing out to buy it. i have heard him talk about GoldLine for over a year and don't have any inkling to check it out. I will say that Mr. Beck did bring up an interesting thought. That the government has started to try and pass a law that will require people to register their silver/gold purchuses. God I hope I heard that wrong because the goverment did that about 50 years ago when they made it illegal for americans to have gold. it was the same time that the president went from a gold based monitary system to a finite system.

Sincerely, Garoulady

They allowed keeping numismatic gold, only took the gold worth face value. No gold is now worth face value.
