Comic genius. Pure and simple. Period.

His three best flicks IMHO...

Caddyshack, Easy Money & Back to School!!!

Classic lines..."Come on, let me just lick the bride", "I'm trying to build a plane, it's a mescherschmit", Well, why don't you call me when you have no class then", "My father built the bathrooms in this joint", "Can I call you dad?", "I didn't want to kiss my mother-in-law on the face for 20 years. I wound up kissing her ass" "You scratched my dinghey", "You must've been something before electricity", "You''ll get nothing and like it", "So what. So let's dance", "What does a browser look like anyway?. Maybe I'm half browser".

All good and funny movies. My favorite line from Caddy Shack is

Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh?
[looks at Judge Smails, who's wearing the same hat]
Oh, it looks good on you though.

Then make one of his faces... rolling his eyes.. too funny Rodney was great with those one liners, executed with perfect timing. :icon_thumleft:

still his best line

"You must've been something before electricity"

Yeah, without a doubt, that was probably one of the best lines in the movie.

As far a funny with perfect timing I will go with the hat.. After making the comment and turning to see the judge was priceless. They really had a perfect cast of characters.. And each played off the other so well.. It's hard to get a cast like that today.

Caddyshack is a classic.

Favorite lines:

"You must've been something before electricity"

"Well, why don't you call me when you have no class then"

:laughing7: :laughing7:

Actually Diggin the Past, the line "Why don't you call me when you have no class then" was from "Back to School".

He was talking to his teacher - played by Sally Kellerman - and he asked her out for a date. If he said Monday, she said she had class, Tuesday, yet again she had class. Wednesday, you guessed it, class. So, Rodney finally replied, "Well, why don't you call me when you have no class then" :headbang: :laughing7: :laughing9: :tongue3:

He was really good in Natural Born Killers as a messed up dad,I also like the fact that Jay Leno still does a little bit of him every night on his show during his monolouge. :hello2: :laughing7:
