anyone do any digging around houston/conroe texas?

just wondering if any one does any digging around this area. ive been out more times than I can count and have dug more holes than I wish to dig. but havent been asble to locat any points. ive tried walking the creeks and have had no luck with that either. Im just dieing to find my first point and was just wondering. any possible leads would help also. thanks, jeremy

Hey Jeremy, One of my favorite walks is on the San Jacinto near you. The area near the scout camp/shooting range has produced a lot of paleos. You have all those creeks between 45 and 59 all the way to livingston that have hot spots too. As long as it's walkable go from sand bar to sandbar. I've found more on the backside of the bars than to upside.
I'm up for another walk in a week or two.
