Until my business achieves complete world domination ... I'm going to be stuck in Wisconsin for a while.

Is anyone on the forum diving the great lakes? I'm a complete newbie and hope to be certified this summer for scuba. Not that anyone would want to dive with a complete newbie, but I was hoping to find some people in the area that have the same interests to chat with and talk about shipwrecks.

Seen the price of scrap copper and brass lately?
A successful salvage of any one of many wrecks would make us instant millionaires.
The best part is that they are all in less than 200' of (cold) water, and all are 4 miles or less from shore. I cannot believe the big marine salvage outfits haven't dug up all these easy targets yet!

So, what's on your mind, anyways?

If you're still around for shipwreck diving in the Great Lakes, give me a private email. I don't know if you can say on here a local dive shop in the area shipwreck diving in a 6 pack private boat. But.... we're diving the Wisconsin, the Lumberman, the Prinz WIllhelm and the Milwaukee every week. The vis is around 75 feet. Dan Johnson found the Lumberman and the Kate Kelly in the 80's if you wondered who found them, or not... Thanks
