Very nice pendant with circle gold i think. I wish you luck.

I don't know about the coin but the bezel definitely looks like gold. Someone will be able to answer about the coin, I would think. Nice find.

it's Roman bronze coin, I said the first-second century:hello2:

WOW!! That's quite a find! I would looooooooooooove to find something like that someday!

I'm sorry that I can't help in ID'ing it.

Congrats on that find!

i even think that this is a posthumous coins (AS)

It looks like a tetradrachm from the eastern part of the Roman Empire - Antioch would be my guess. I don't have my references in front of me at the moment, but the emperor looks like one of the short-lived generals that seized power in the late 3rd century, Carus, Probus, Diocletian maybe?

Sweet find Chris!! I looked in the reference book I have of coins from England and didn't find anything like it as I was thinking Roman coin too. Good luck with the ID.

could it be a fantasy coin?

could it be a fantasy coin? looks like a date is on it?

Not sure why my link went to front page but the coin I was thinking was closest to mine was the last one on the left, if you scroll all the way down??? still not sure but it looks close enough.

I think you are right. The one on the bottom left of the page you linked to looks a lot like it to me.

This one:

Ya Mon! That's it for sure. The one I found looked like L S but yours is L Z which is what is on mine. Not bad, found it in the sand after a full moon party here.

Thanks,
Chris
