It may be a child's buckle? Still don't know the value...

what is the real value of anything ? -- it is as much as they will give you for it and as little as you take for it --when those two numbers are the same --that is its value===at that place and time between those two people --- it varies from place to place and time to time..depending upon who wants it and how bad you need the cash...

Hard to say from the pic and lack of size reference. Butif I had to guess I'd say vintage kd's gun belt buckle.

If that is what it is and you had the whole thing in good condition and it was a famous name or popular brand, it MIGHT have some value.

Just the buckle... Maybe a buck or two... If you can identify what kind of belt it was on... :dontknow:

I'm thinking it just looks big in the picture because that's all we got to go by ... No reference to the size of it ???

It's a strap or belt buckle of some kind? Possible cinching type, Maybe Victorian times? It it looks like it may have had a tongue in the center bar at one time? They've been around and used for a long time from the Mesopotamian's to the Men who flew to the moon. A very ingenious device. Who ever first came up with it, would sure be in the class of the greatest inventions of all time with that idea. Value 5 bucks at best, more if it's sterling?

Looks like a buckle. Need to know the size and type of metal, was it plated?

Why do you say child's buckle? Is it small like a shoe buckle? Is that an English Rose? Whats on top? What type of metal? Can we see better pics front and back with size reference please. thanks.

Its clearly modern/20th C. The place where the pin goes is a give-a-way. Not worth much.
