Anybody have any experience with a Minelab Sovereign GT ?

I have an opportunity to buy one cheap, but don't know much about them. Any thoughts about them would be greatly appreciated.

This is one of the best detectors out there. Mine has the S-1 inline probe for a 1" coil that runs off the detectors circuits. It is the king for hunting the beaches too. So long as you don't get the box wet. It has to many features to list them all here.

I posted on another thread today about the Sov GT......I have owned 12 detectors, not that many compared to many here, I like to play with them, I still own 6, 2 of which are Sov GTs, one is custom waterproofed.....I buy, play with them and resale some of them from time to time...

I will always own a Sov GT or at least a Sov, I say that in case Minelab comes out with a newer version.....

Sovereign GT is a fantastic detector.....

I have Sov xs.... and I will never sell it... it is like the energizer bunny.... keeps going and going. Probably the best machine other than maybe the horseshoe coil excal¸that I have ever owned.
