Any World's Fair Experts out there?
My sister and I bought the contents of a storage unit from a man who goes to auctions and buys and then just stores it until he can't get anything else in the unit. Last week he called us to see if we wanted to buy everything for $100 bucks---there was four truckloads of stuff!
We had a blast going through all the stuff and I've already made our money back on one item I sold on eBay(a baseball scrapbook from the 1950's.).
This is one of the items from the storage unit that I can't figure out---Its from the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. It has a thing at the top that spins around and around when placed in direct sunlight. Does anyone know what to call this? Does it have a purpose or is it just a novelty item? Thanks for looking and any help!
