This token was found about four inches down in a football field at my former High School. It has a picture on the front of Franklin D. Roosevelt and has the writing 1933-1945 - 32nd President of the United States. On the backside it lists some information on his terms and his DOB. It is about the size of a half dollar coin. I searched the web but could not find any information on this token. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Greg

I'd say it's more of a medal or medallion than a token. A "token" is kinda like a private issue coin ~ a token is good for a certain denomination or value or good for a use or service.

If it says Join the Cracker Jack Mystery club on the back, then its a Presidential token from a box of Cracker Jack. Ron

I found the exact same thing in a park in birmingham, but it was Teddy Roosevelt. Then I was looking through some of my brother's coins, and he had about 5 different presidents worth that weren't dug. They were bright brass colored like arcade tokens. I think they were made in the seventies.
Neat find.
