Any Time You Find Silver...It's a Good Day!

Back to San Francisco to hunt the parks! My first attempt at hunting San Francisco parks was way back in 1987. The silver coins keeps me going back!
Hit two parks and dug out three pieces of silver! Started at 9am and finished at almost 7pm. Two silver dimes, 8 wheat pennies, silver ring, and a clad total
of $12.80. Total coins dug was 187!

It's huge! 3 miles long and a half a mile wide. It is larger than the New York City Central Park! It has soccer fields, golf courses, horseshoe pits, fly fishing ponds, lakes, waterfalls, numerous picnic grounds,
miles of hiking trails, duck ponds, museums, tennis courts, tea gardens, buffalo enclosures, and a dozen other activities and places. I've been hunting it for over 20 years and I'm still pulling the silver out!
It gets about 3 million visitors a year! Construction on this park started back in the 1870's.

Great finds Mike ! You really know your San Francisco parks .

Nice finds. Looks like a real good park for coinshooting. I'm going to have to get back out there some day. Haven't been to San Fran since I was in the Navy at Moffit Field way back when.

Excellent bunch of finds  congrats on the silvers, great haul you got there.
