This is an old copper that I found about a month ago. It is the size of a large cent but very thin and worn. I first soaked in hot peroxide several times, then soaked in olive oil for 3 weeks, and finally did a short session of electrolysis on it (as a last effort for identification). I can faintly see a bust facing left but I still can't id it. Was hoping that some of the coin experts may be able to see enough now to come to a concensus id ( when posted in the Todays Finds section several weeks ago, most who offered an opinion thought it might be a King George II half penny) which would be my first colonial find.
