A buddy of mine has this coin and wanted to know if I could identify it. My guess is a Roman Denarius, but I have no idea as to the emperor or time frame.

Vespasian AD70 Rome Mint RIC Vol II part 1 No 29 (Sears Vol 1 2285) full legends as follows:

Obverse: IMP CAESAR VES[PASIANVS AVG] Laureate head right.
Reverse: COS ITER [TR POT] Pax seated left with Olive branch and Caduceus
