Hey Jeff,

I hunt Clearwater every now and then. I can tell you that you will run into lots of hunters there while on your trip. I won't be there during your trip but you may likely see many of the other folks that post on here at Clearwater. Take the time to explore other beaches while you are there also. Just head down the coastal highway. There are plenty of other beaches south as go down the coast also. Clearwater will keep you busy though. Nice large beach. The beach machines clean it every morning so I would suggest a night hunt after everybody clears the beach for the day. There is plenty of lighting from businesses around the area and a good many beach walkers at night there so it is relatively safe. I hunt it at night most trips and have never felt uncomfortable there. Good luck.
