Anywhere between 1cent and 1,000,000$ depending on the i.q. of the person your trying to sell it to.

It looks like an "Akro Agate" type . What diameter is it ? The bigger they are - the more they're worth .

i cant tell...... can you get a better pic...it could be akro or a m.f. christensen ...[with the '9' pattern on that one pole...also might be a peltier peerless patch....anyway its definately an old marble with the 30s beign the era of this mib...a picture outside in natural light with the camera on macro would help a lot...

I'm really enjoying this post, never knew there was so much to find out
about marbles, such as makers, years, names & so on. Very interesting
& glad to be learning something new. Thanks.

this looks like a slag type marble...imho...if you can find a flat seam on it id go with peltier....if where you see the flow of glass start...if theres a pontil thats been melted down[ around where you see the 9 shape in the glass then id go m.f. christensen this would be from the teens to the mid 20s...but the color is not typical of this type, but not unheard of...an akro slag would show a rounded cutoff bout the size and shape of your thumbnail....if you find no definate seam then champion agate...pennsboro wv 30s....the last place id put this marble is alley agate but their marbles are usually better defined with flame tips in the color glass.....most colllectors would class this a wv swirl and wait for a show to get a positive id by comparing the white glass with known examples....whew!!!!! i would still say pre ww 2 show me the rest gold!!!.....

Who would have thunk there was so much info on marbles. Are there any
sites on marble ID & if so can you post them. I just have to see more on this.
Thanks, good post.
